Warm neutral surface
The questionnaire sits on Tegy’s muted brown surface, not a transplanted Claude gray.
Tegy product evidence · corrected 24 July 2026
The first revision copied Claude’s literal gray, blue, and system typography. That was the wrong interpretation. This revision keeps the useful interaction hierarchy while expressing every state in Tegy’s warm product language.
The corrected direction
Claude is the interaction reference: quiet rest states, focused hover feedback, and unmistakable selection. Tegy supplies the colors, typography, radius, and overall product character.
The questionnaire sits on Tegy’s muted brown surface, not a transplanted Claude gray.
Inactive text uses Tegy’s muted beige; the current row receives a slightly warmer accent surface.
Tegy brand orange now owns radio, checkbox, and submit emphasis. Claude blue is gone.
Production proof: the real questionnaire below was generated by a live Codex turn at app.tegy.io after deployment. No assistant content was fabricated.
Live production
These are authenticated 1280×720 captures from the deployed app, using the team’s browser profile.
Muted beige copy and a dark brown decision surface keep the questionnaire distinct without introducing a foreign palette.
The selected row gains an orange border and radio signal while the other options stay deliberately quiet.
Semantic palette
These are Tegy tokens already used across the product. The questionnaire aliases them by purpose, so future palette changes remain consistent.
| State | Interaction lesson | Tegy expression |
|---|---|---|
| Rest | Keep choices low-noise before the user interacts. | Warm muted surface and muted beige copy. |
| Hover / current | Guide attention with one subtle surface change. | Tegy accent brown with full foreground text. |
| Selected | Make commitment immediately visible. | Brand orange with dark brand-foreground check. |
| Typography | Separate the question from compact operational controls. | Lora question title; Space Mono questionnaire UI. |
| Controls | Keep Skip, keycaps, and custom-answer affordances secondary. | Card and secondary tokens, with strong-border outlines. |
Reference boundary
The live Claude capture remains useful as interaction research. It is no longer presented as a palette specification for Tegy.
Quiet rest, a narrow focus signal, compact progress, and clear selection are the transferable ideas.
Warm surfaces, Space Mono controls, Lora title, and orange selection keep the questionnaire unmistakably Tegy.
Interaction recording
This deterministic authenticated fixture shows rest, hover, and orange multi-selection without mutating the DOM for the demo.
Verification
The revised regression first failed against the copied Claude gray, then passed only after the questionnaire resolved to Tegy’s semantic palette.

Repository-wide lint still reports the pre-existing
react-hooks/set-state-in-effect error at
src/App.tsx:9915 and its related warning at line 9907.
This questionnaire change does not touch that effect.
